How to Participate?
We are asking 16,000 people to be part of a study that will help us understand how chemicals might impact health over many years. We want to include everyone: white or ethnic minority and urban or rural residents from NC and GA. The study details are at https://tinyurl.com/2p98m5z3.
Ready to sign up?

You can be part of the study if you:
- Are 40-75 years old

- Are generally healthy OR you have cirrhosis of the liver
If you are 40 to 75 years and are part of STRIVE, every 1-2 years, you will:
- Sign a consent form and complete a questionnaire.
- Sign a medical release form so we can collect medication and other information.
- Answer questions about:
- Your home environment
- Your health
- Your dietary habits
- Your current/previous work environment
- You will provide urine, saliva, and blood samples
- We will send you home to mail back with a wristband (to collect data on air quality), and materials and instructions to collect water (for drinking and cooking), handwipes, and house dust samples.
- We will repeat this every 1-2 years and the visits will be shorter.
Taking part in this study is up to you. You may leave the study at any time, for any reason.
