For Ambassadors

Overview of the Ambassador Program:

We want to recruit people representative of North Carolina and Georgia’s diverse communities. To do this we need the help of community members to get the word out about our study. Ambassadors are already community members in areas we are trying to reach. We rely on them to be our connectors to their community, an essential part of the study. They tell others about the STRIVE study to see if they would like to participate and are compensated for recruiting participants.

Why become an ambassador?

Not only can you make an impact in our research by having your community represented in the study, but you will also be compensated $25 for each participant you recruit to be a part of the study.

Who is eligible?

Ambassadors are 18 years and older who schedule and complete an orientation (in person, virtually, or by phone) with STRIVE staff, and who agree to follow the ambassador guidelines.

Ambassadors do not have to be STRIVE study participants. Ambassadors must complete an ambassador orientation before they can begin recruiting – in person or virtually. This is a short process that you can complete with a member of the STRIVE team.

To join STRIVE as an ambassador, contact us for more info and to schedule your short orientation.

Requesting More Ambassador Resources:

We appreciate all the work the Ambassadors in all of North Carolina and Georgia’s diverse communities do for the STRIVE study. We could not do our study without you!

If you need more resources as an ambassador, please let us know what you need to keep recruiting.
